I’m Jason Mak and I’m senior majoring in economics and double minoring in business and political science.  Outside of academics, I’m heavily involved within the Office of First Year Experience, serving as a Camp Hawk Counsellor and Orientation leader for the past two years. I’m an e-board member for Lehigh’s recreational tennis club and electronic music society and am also a stage manager for the Department of Theatre’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Eckardt/Lehigh Experience Comments:
The Eckardt Scholars program has been a wonderful experience during my time here at Lehigh. This program has given a huge amount of academic flexibility, and not being as strictly bound to college requirements has allowed me to explore my interests and passions by studying the subjects/courses I find interesting.  In addition, this program has introduced me to a group of incredible, likeminded people. Through class cohort social and special events, we’ve been able to meet for semi- regular dinners and experience incredible opportunities, such as to go see Hamilton on Broadway.
