Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, I am a pre-med student majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Health, Medicine, and Society. At Lehigh, I am involved with TRAC, Peer Health Advisers, Big Brothers Big Sisters, independent research and Lehigh EMS, Lehigh’s student-run EMS group where I volunteer as an EMT. More recently, I co-founded an EdTech startup this past summer with six undergraduates to foster student collaboration and active engagement with class material to revolutionize higher education.

The Eckardt Scholars Program has afforded me the opportunity to pursue a diverse array of interests through seminars which have challenged and expanded my intellectual curiosity. For example, in our freshman seminar we studied the political critiques embedded in Melville, Morrison and Malcom X’s work and later saw Hamilton on Broadway, a truly unforgettable experience that I never would have had without being in the program. The Eckardt Scholars program has also allowed me to meet the most incredible people at Lehigh and my closest friends. Our cohort is truly a family.
